Visit to the winery with a tasting of 3 wines and appetizers
About this experience
The visit consists of a tour of the facilities, explaining the winemaking process and a bit of our history. It's an enjoyable, educational visit that is generally enjoyed by all audiences. A paired tasting of three of our wines with three appetizers is then offered, preferably on our terrace, if not inside. Regardless of the visit, you can taste our full range of wines and a selection of tapas in the relaxed atmosphere of our Wine Bar, open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. No reservation is required.
What to expect
If you visit Bodegas TIHOM, in the heart of the Barrio de la Estación of Haro, you will live an intimate, authentic, and personal experience. It is not a conventional visit. There are no large groups or preset routes here: each visit is adapted to the visitor, and the attention is direct, usually by Jorge Muga or someone very close to the project. During the visit, you will tour the small winery, where everything is done with calm, precision, and respect for the wine. You will see how the minority varieties of Rioja work—such as Garnacha Blanca, Maturana Blanca, Graciano, or Mazuelo—and you will get a close look at their way of understanding viticulture and winemaking: a philosophy that bets on the difficult, the unique, and the deeply Riojan, without clichés. You will also taste the wines in a cozy space, where you can chat without rush about each one of them, about the origin of the grapes, about the decisions that define their character, and about the history of TIHOM: a recent history, but with deep roots in tradition. In summary: if you come to TIHOM, you won't just visit a warehouse. You will take a conversation, a memory, a wine, and a place where everything makes sense.
